31 week update
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin.
As ready as I am for her to be here, and to have my body back, she has been an amazing baby to carry. She never made me vomit (minus our little popcorn endeavor), she generally stays in a comfortable position, and she never minds my new love of spicy foods. Only a couple nights in the second trimester did I have heartburn. We can't wait to meet her! And hold her, and kiss her, and let her know how much she is loved...if we go 38 weeks (which i'm hoping for!) we have 50 days left. C'mon October!
The Nursery...Update!
Here is the nursery as of a few weeks ago. Since then, we have picked out chocolate suede fabric to redo the glider and the bench seat (which now has a cushion). The Noah's ark picture is in the loft, and we have big plans for her wall decor! We still have a few projects to tackle, but for the most part...we're on our way! Will's parents helped build the built-in...but the computer lost the pictures I took of them when it kept needing to revert to default settings and all that. But Eliana will know that her grandparents worked very hard to make her room so nice! I can't wait to post the finished pictures!
